HALLOWEEN RECIPES
Bat Cupcakes ( Original recipe makes 2 dozens)
Ingredients
1 (18.25 ounces)package chocolate cake mix.
1 (16 ounces) container prepared chocolate frosting
1 (11.5 ounces) package cookies
1 (6 ounces) bag milk chocolate candy kisses
1 tablespoon red gel icing
How many grams of each ingredient do you need?
Remember: 1 ounce equals 28.35 grams
Cook 20 mins Ready in 30 mins
Directions
Prepare the cake mix according to package directions for cupcakes. Cool. Frost cupcakes with chocolate frosting.
Break the cookies in half, and press two halves into the top of each cupcake for wings, stripes facing the frosting. Place a chocolate kiss in front of the cookies with the point facing forward for the body. Make two beady little eyes with the red gel icing towards the point of the kiss. Let the fun begin!
PUMKIN SQUARES (Original recipe makes 1 9x13 inch pan.)
Ingredients
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups white sugar
1 (15 ounces) can solid pack pumpkin puree
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups white sugar
1 (15 ounces) can solid pack pumpkin puree
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit .How many degrees Celsius?
In a medium bowl, mix together the eggs, oil, sugar and pumpkin until smooth. Sift together the flour, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir into the pumpkin mixture.
Spread evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool before frosting.
